Assalamu Alaiqum, This is Monika Akter from Cumilla. In my childhood, due to worse condition of my family, my father shifted our family to Dhaka. My parent started running a tea stall. I am the third child of my parents. My mother decided to admit me at school. Once my mother discovered SUROVI School which provides education to the underprivileged children free of cost. My mother enrolled me in pre-primary level at SUROVI School. While I was a student of class three, I was enlisted with Child Sponsorship Program. From that I was receiving CSP support time to time. Because of that I did not feel any problem for study. Now I am student of BBA Honors (Accounting). It was totally impossible to reach up to this position without getting opportunity from SUROVI and HCI. I am really grateful to HCI and Sponsor for giving such type of Opportunity for me. It is my dream, in future, after completion my study, I will be a banker and I will release hardship of my family.

In every sphere of life we will find good or bad things. We always remember the good things happen to us. Likewise for underprivileged children little achievements towards the goal are a success.Same for the sponsor child name Mehdi Hasan Emon. His ID is 264184. He has been sponsored by HCI for two years. He reads in grade ten in Rayer Bazar High School. His father is a driver and mother works as a cleaner in a college. Besides his study he is doing scouting. He attended a scouting conference in India in 2018. He had been sponsored for that event by Indian Scout. The event was held for seven days. In 2023 he attended in 25th World Scout Jamburi in South Korea. It was basically camp and training based program. The session held for 15 days. He was sponsored by World scout. Nine students were sponsored there and he is one of them. His experience was very nice. Through this camp he experienced first time in flight. He went to South Korea’s Seamangerm state. The transit he got in Singapore, he even saw the Singapore airport for the first time. In that camp training there 51 countries scout members were gather altogether. He also experienced different culture with others. Most importantly he saw his ideal in person for the very first time the first chief scout ‘Bear Grylls’. At present he is providing the training to the underprivileged children in SUROVI along with two others school by Ticket to light Bangladesh Scout. He is doing volunteer work for them. They also helped him with the sponsorship of going the other countries. This year he went to eight different camps in Bangladesh. His dream is to be a part of Army or Navy. He believes that one day he will fulfill his dream. He is very much grateful to HCI for helping him.

Assalamu Alaiqum, this is Md. Rakib Hasan, a student of BBA, Fifth semester. I am also working as a Sales Executive of Twelve Clothing Store as well. I have come up to this level through a lot of straggle in my life. I was born in Dhanmondi, Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh. My mother is working as a domestic worker. It is too difficult to maintain family expenditure with her petite income. My mother had dream to educate me, but she had no ability to bear schooling cost. At that time, my mother got information from neighbor about SUROVI School, where they provide quality education with care for poor, helpless and underprivileged children. One day my mother brought me to SUROVI School and I was enrolled in pre-primary as a beginner. I knew I will have to complete my study and will earn for my family, so I was attentive to my study and as a result I performed well in School. At that time I was selected for Child Sponsorship Program to entitle the support. It appeared as a blessing and a great opportunity in my life to touch my goal. My mother felt a little relax from her hardship. With the support of sponsor, it was possible for me to continue my education. Now I am earning money. From my income I can meet my education expense and I can help my mother. I have a dream in future I will do corporate job. I am highly thankful to HCI and my Sponsor for giving such type of opportunity.

I am Md. Rahidul Islam Rajib Mia. My father’s name is Md. Abdul Kuddus Mia and mother’s name is Mst. Rajia Begum. I have been living in Dhaka from my childhood. I am living with my parent on footpath under temporary polythene house besides Kalabagan playground in Dhaka. It was my long desire to go to a school. But my father, who was the only earning person of our family, lost both his legs due to an accident and he became lame. He is unable to do any work. My mother had to take the responsibility of the family. Now she has been working as a maid servant. She earns a very little money and she cannot meet the family expenses. She could not effort the house rent and we started to live in the street. I had strong desire to study. Seeing my aspiration, my mother purchased an alphabet book for me. Since then I used to study under street lamp. One day, one of my elder sisters informed me about SUROVI School. My mother took me there and enrolled me in SUROVI School. Since then I have been studying at SUROVI School. Observing my family conditions, SUROVI authority selected me to entitle Sponsorship Support. I have been studied upto grade Ten with the support of sponsorship program. It was totally impossible to reach up to this position without giving opportunity by HCI and SUROVI. So, I am highly grateful to HCI, my Sponsor and who are involved in this process. By the grace of Allah, I am on the way to fulfill my destination. Now I am doing a job and from my salary I am maintaining my personal expenditure and my family expenditure.
