Food Security & Poverty Reduction

SUROVI has been implementing Food Security, Relief & Rehabilitation Program for a long time. The Food Security Program aims to remove hunger for the ultra poor families so that the families keep their children away from engaging child labor and allow them to attend school.

ies to entitle the support. The support includes food items particularly rice, flour, cooking oil, lentils (pulse), sugar, salt, powdered milk, vermicelli, chickpea, dates, fresh meat, eggs, spices as per requirement of families.

Micro-credit: SUROVI offers micro-finance support to the families living in poverty line. The interventions includes group formation, group savings, livelihood skill training, arranging self-employment/micro-entrepreneurship to enable beneficiary families sustainable economic development and improve life-style.
